Starting with February 15, 2015, producers can not freely engage children to provide services in fields of culture, arts, sports, advertising and modeling.
The conditions under which children can perform remunerated activities in the fields of culture, arts, sports, advertising and modeling are:
1) there is a contract between the organizer and the parents / legal representative of the child or, if applicable, directly with the child, if the child is 14 years old but with the prior consent of the parents / legal representative;
2) have previously been informed about the public social assistance service at the child’s domicile by submitting an information note by the parents / legal representative of the child before the actual start of the activity;
3) Do not constitute hazardous work for children, in accordance with the legislation in force;
4) To be provided, depending on the age of the child, in the following timeframe: 9.00 – 17.00 for children under the age of 5; 8.00-20.00 for children aged 5-12; 7,00-22,00 for children over 12;
5) The duration of the activity should not exceed one hour per week, preferably on different days, for children under one year, 2 hours per day for children aged 1 to 5 years, 4 hours per day for children aged between 5 and 12 years and 6 hours a day for children over 12 years of age, without taking into account short breaks after each continuing activity but not more than 12 hours per week for work on the duration of the school year, provided they are carried out, in particular, outside the classes;
6) The activity continues to be performed for a maximum of 15 minutes by children under the age of 1 year and maximum 30 minutes by children aged between 1 and 5 and up to 45 minutes by children aged over 5;
7) the number of rehearsals of any kind, as well as any stage designed to ensure the smooth running of activities, regardless of their nature: performance, rehearsal, training, photo session, filming and the like do not exceed one day in the case of children aged under 1 year and two per day for children over 1 year of age. Between the two actions, which take place on the same day, a break of at least an hour and a half is granted;
8) short breaks last between 10 and 15 minutes after each continuous activity;
9) The big break lasts at least half an hour and is awarded after every hour of activity for children aged 1 to 5, every 2 hours for children aged 5 to 12 and every 3 classes for children over the age of 12;
10) the maximum number of days per week for children to perform activities is 4 consecutive days followed by a minimum of 48 hours of rest;
11) activities that are organized during school holidays must not affect the observance of the child’s right to rest and leisure time;
12) In the case of activities that last for more than 2 months, the child will be given a break of 14 days after the first 60 days of activity.
